Nancy, I love this so much! And this poet is also one I keep turning to ion these crazy times. You may know of this poem that I am using in my practice with seekers:

Just sit there right now

Don’t do a thing

Just rest

For your separation from God

Is the hardest work in this world

Let me bring you trays of food

And something that you like to drink

You can use my soft words

As a cushion for your head

Lately I’ve been contemplating, How can we be separated from God… if we are God?

Also… I’ve been loving this other Hafiz poem too.
